Job summary AUDLEM MEDICAL PRACTICE - We are a 5100 patient rural practicebased in the traditional Cheshire village of Audlem.
We are looking for a part-time GP to work Tuesday, Thursday and Friday to support our current clinicalteam of 3 GP partners, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 1 Nurse Prescriber, and 1 Nurse Associate.
We have embraced the ARRS scheme with a Social Prescriber,Physiotherapist, Pharmacist and Care Co-Ordinator working with an extendedadministration team to reduce the load on clinicians.
We are a training practice and also hostKeele University Medical Students.We are a friendly team and value allour staff and their well-being.

Main duties of the job We are looking for a Salaried GP, either experienced or newly qualified who is happy to work 3/4 days a week (4 - 7 sessions) we would need the successful applicant to deal with patients, both via the telephone and face to face, deal with prescriptions, look at clinical paperwork (our admin team operate a document management system, so only documents essential for a GP to see are sent through) deal with lab reports, referrals and all other administrative duties that GPs undertake.

We do an annual Practice away day which the staff really enjoy and we have low staff turnover.

This significantly aids continuity of care for patients as well as supporting staff members whether that is administrative or clinical.
Its also an opportunity to get to know the rest of the team on a personal level and the practice team really enjoy this time.
Job description Job responsibilities Undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely mannerMake professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problemsAssessing the health needs to patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problemsScreening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illnessContributing to QOF requirements and producing plans and following protocols as requiredReferrals and admissionsDealing patient clinical correspondence and lab reportsPrescribing in accordance with accepted formularyRecording clear and contemporaneous consultation notesIn general the post holder will be required to undertake all duties and responsibilities associated with working in a GP practice.
