We are looking for a Salaried GP (newly qualified - less than 2 years) to join our PCN in Winsford, having had experience working in a Primary Care setting.
You will be working 2 days a week (4 sessions): ideally Mondays and Tuesdays, and seeing patients from all 5 practices.
You will normally see the acute on the day patient.
Main duties of the jobInclusion on the NHS Performers List is a requirement before applying.
You will be seeing the acute "on the day" patients, following the BMA model contract.
Although this role is advertised on a fixed contract basis for 4 months, this is because the funding is from the new ARRS GP funding which is only currently until the end of March 2025.
However, it is envisaged this will become a permanent contract from April 2025, once the funding is guaranteed! About usOur PCN is made up of 5 practices, all working in close proximity to each other.
We are a friendly bunch of people who get on well together, and good working relationships.
You will have a dedicated GP Mentor provided by the PCN whom you will work closely with, and is there to support you!

As a Salaried GP, you will provide high-quality medical care, working closely with, and under the supervision and mentorship of a dedicated GP mentor for the PCN, this will be provided by one of the PCN practices.
Collaborative with a dynamic clinical team to offer holistic, patient-focused care.
Participate in the development of services and engage with the local community.
Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and expertise.
You will be working for Winsford PCN which comprises 5 GP practices.
Your base will be at Willow-Wood Surgery, and you will see patients from across the 5 practices at your base.
Our weighted patient list size is approximately 40,000 patients in total.
We are looking for an enthusiastic GP to cover a Monday and Tuesday for our PCN.
There will be some flexibility in the start times of your clinics, it will be BMA contract compliant, and you will not have any "extra" patients booked in at the end of your clinics!
