Bramblys Grange Partnership are looking for a Salaried GP to join our practice across 2 sites: one in the town centre of Basingstoke and one suburban site with the opportunity to work at both settings.
Bramblys Grange Partnership is a long-established, friendly practice with over 20,000 patients.
We are looking for a GP colleague who is a good team player, with enthusiasm, commitment, and a desire to make a difference in General Practice to join our team.
We are looking to recruit 6 clinical sessions, adopting flexible working patterns and new models of care.

We are a training practice that is high achieving, forward-looking and continually seeking to improve our patient care services to a standard of excellence, achieving all higher targets.
We have an excellent relationship with our multidisciplinary teams.
Our clinics are made up of 10- and 15-minute appointments with approx.
12-15 contacts per session.
Main duties of the jobBe available to take telephone calls from patients.Provide home visits when required on duty.Undertake all relevant administrative work arising from your patient contacts, for example dealing with results, queries and making referrals within 72 hours of seeing the patient.The doctor covering the morning same day doctor session must be available from 08.00 until 13.00 for any emergencies or queries.The doctor covering the afternoon same day doctor session must be available from 13.00 until 18.30 for any emergencies or queries.Undertake any relevant training required to perform your duties at Bramblys Grange.Share in any other duties not listed above which may form part of the normal clinical and relevant administrative workload of the Practice e.g.
letters, paperwork, certificates and reports.About usBramblys Grange currently have 5 GP Partners, 7 Salaried GPs.We are an EMIS Web Practice.Longstanding GP training Practice with 2 GP trainers.Extended health care team including 6 Practice Nurses, 1 Frailty Nurse and 4 Health Care Assistants.We are part of Mosaic Primary Care Network and also have access to ARRS roles including Physio, Physician Associate, Mental Health Practitioners and Pharmacists.High level of achievement in QOF, Enhanced Services and local schemes.CQC Rated as Good.Job responsibilitiesGeneral To provide general medical services to the patients of the Practice by way of surgeries, visits, advice, clinics and relevant administrative work, together with other such duties as are required of General Medical Practitioners and/or the Practice.To participate as a willing member of the medical team at Bramblys Grange and share in the general workload of the Practice.To deal with patients and staff of the Practice in a courteous and efficient manner.To take on a list of patients for whom you will be their usual doctor.
This list will gradually be grown to 6/9 of the size of a full-time salaried doctor.
Whilst the list is growing, you will be required to cover other doctors' lists on days when they are not working or on leave.
On these days you will perform any duties relating to the absent doctors' list including patient queries, visits, etc.To provide your own personal equipment (stethoscope and auroscope) for use in your room.
A fully equipped consulting room will be made available for surgeries and must be maintained in a tidy condition.
The Practice will endeavour to give you the same room on a regular basis as far as is practicable but may not be able to provide a room when you are on a protected time session.Duties Provide appointments during surgery times and as per your timetable.Be available to take telephone calls from patients.Undertake all relevant administrative work arising from your patient contacts, for example dealing with results, queries and making referrals within 72 hours of seeing the patient.Provide cover for colleagues' holiday, study leave and occasional absences within your timetable.To complete any other medical reports private or otherwise on patients you see and/or are registered with you.
This includes Part II cremation forms performed in Practice time.To provide antenatal or postnatal appointments as per your timetable.To participate in the teaching and training of GP Registrars, FY2 doctors and medical students.To attend practice, clinical and Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings held within your working hours.Person SpecificationQualificationsFull registration with General Medical Council.Evidence of required qualification and experience.Ability to work as part of a diverse team with excellent communication skills.Specialist Clinical interest in a chosen area.ExperienceExperience of working within Primary Care.Disclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
