Main duties of the job n accordance with the Practice as agreed, the post-holder will make him/herself available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, triage calls, triage visits, checking and signing of repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
In consultation with patients and in line with current Practice disease management protocols, developing care plans for health.To assist in the establishment of appropriate systems to manage common chronic medical conditions.Completion of clinically related administrative and non clinical duties needed for the delivery of the service.Refer patients for further opinions and interventions according to Practice protocols.
Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptionsIn general the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
About us Crocus Medical Practice is a busy practice situated in North Essex, close to Cambridge, with close links with Addenbrookes Hospital.We are 3 partner GMS practice, working across two sites, Saffron Walden and Great Chesterford.
Both sites are dispensing and we use Systmone.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
Have a valid GMC number.
Be on the NHSE medical performers list.
Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate).
Desirable Familiar with S1, Accurx and Docman
