Details of the offer

gtd healthcare is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated salaried GP to join our small team providing care for our 4700 patients.
We're looking for a GP, experienced or newly qualified who is keen to be part of a larger organisation as well as a smaller practice team and who can work 3 sessions on a Tuesday afternoon and all day Wednesday.
Additional hours working with another local practice could also be considered.
Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap.
Our practice population is diverse and multi-cultural with a strong community spirit.
A high percentage of our patients face deprivation, multi-morbidity, and mental health issues which makes for an interesting and varied role with many opportunities to make a difference.
The successful candidate will form strong therapeutic relationships with their patients whilst also providing safe evidence-based clinical care.
You will be part of a busy and proactive team working alongside clinical and non-clinical members of the team and the wider organisation.
We pride ourselves on developing our staff and can offer a wealth of opportunities for your career development.

Main duties of the job You will provide routine and urgent clinical care for both acute and long-term conditions working to local and national guidelines.
The daily clinical workload is split equally amongst all clinicians with additional workload kept to a minimum by our excellent care navigation team, who work hard to signpost to the most appropriate of our extensive local community services.
The home visit demand on the practice is generally low and often managed by our PCN Paramedic team; however, there are supportive measures required and you may be required to carry out visits occasionally.
We have a practice pharmacist to support GPs with daily medicines management requests and reviews.
All practice clinical admin (e.g.
secondary care documents, path lab reports, patient NHS forms) is shared between clinicians daily.
A typical day is structured with 15-minute appointments as standard (except for follow-ups/results) with 2/3rds of the session being clinical and 1/3rd clinical admin.
Sessions are 4 hours 10 minutes.
Non-NHS work is also a requirement of the role; however, this is remunerated as additional income to the base salary.
