Main duties of the job The post holder will carry out all the duties reasonably expected of an NHS general practitioner using the standards expected by the GMC and RCGP in line with appropriate national and/or local guidelines.We would love you to be an enthusiastic and forward thinking clinician who loves general practice and wants to provide the highest standards of care for all our patients.

The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled populationb.
The provision of services commensurate with the GMS contractc.
Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidanced.
Effective management of long-term conditionse.
Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasksf.
On a rotational basis, undertake and duty doctor roleg.
Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidanceh.
