Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join ourmulti-disciplinary PCN team which consists of 8 GP Practices, ClinicalPharmacists, Paramedics, Social Prescribers, Physiotherapists, CareCoordinators, Health Coach and Pharmacist Technicians.The successful candidate will work 4 sessions (2 days) per week (ideally working on two of the following days: Monday, Tuesday, Friday)Due to the changes in the ARRS Scheme to introduce GeneralPractitioners we are looking to expand our team by seeking to employ a highlymotivated, newly qualified General Practitioner to work alongside our practicesand PCN staff.PLEASE NOTE:This role is for Stockport East and South PCN and you will be employed by a practice within the PCN.The post holder will need to have full access to a car to enable full geographical working across Stockport East and South PCN (Hazel Grove to High Lane, Marple, Romiley and Woodley)and work flexibly to meet the needs of the PCN.This is a permanent contract subject to the funding related to the ARRS scheme.For more information about the role you can contact:Dr Sam Wise Johan Taylor Sara Mayer Main duties of the job To perform as an autonomous general practitioner workingindependently and with other health care professionals to assess, diagnose andtreat the conditions of patients attending within a primary care setting, bothin practice and on home visits.Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers andcolleagues and ensure the maintenance of clinical excellence.
