Securitas is looking for a dedicated Safer Community Security Officer to protect people and property in Norwich!As a vital member of our security team, you'll be on the frontline, closely monitoring activities and reporting any incidents with tools such as wands and metal detectors.

Make a real difference in the safety and well-being of those you protect by joining us today!Job OpportunityPatrol Duties: Carry out internal and external patrols, day and night, in all weather conditions to ensure the security and integrity of the siteCustomer-Facing Environment: Work in a customer-facing environment, handling situations politely, tactfully, and discreetlyAccess Control: Manage access to the site at various control points, vehicle barriers, and reception stations, ensuring adherence to access control measures and identification checksEmergency Response: Perform musters, evacuations, and other roles as required in the event of an emergencySearch Duties: Conduct searches of vehicles and bags to maintain high security levels and meet client requirementsEscort Duties: Escort and chaperone VIPs and other visitors as neededKey Management: Issue keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions (AIs)Safety Reporting: Report and record any faults, health and safety hazards, and unsafe working practicesCCTV and control room responsibilitiesEssential SkillsFull SIA LicenceDriving Licence5 years security experienceGood communication skillsGreat time keeping skillsAbility to perform routine patrolsIT literateRight to work in the UKA five-year check able employment or education historyFluent in EnglishSmart appearance and approachableDE&ISecuritas is an all-inclusive employer, and we encourage individuality within our company.
