The Role: Provide support and guidance to colleagues in identifying and reporting safeguarding concerns, including training on types and signs of abuse.
Maintain strong partnerships with statutory agencies and challenge professional differences when necessary.
Oversee case management, data tracking, following up actions plans Lead on the coordination and development of safeguarding policies, maintaining compliance with legislation and best practices.
Manage sensitive information with discretion, supporting colleagues in dealing with difficult cases.
Collaborate with external partners and agencies to ensure joined-up approaches to safeguarding.
The Candidate should: Relevant experience of managing complex safeguarding cases, involving both adults and children Understand the legislation surrounding and relating to Safeguarding, Mental Capacity, Domestic Abuse and reporting processes Hold the ability to coordinate safeguarding concerns.
Be able to educate colleagues on the types and signs of abuse and support them in reporting potential abuse cases and liaison with relevant partners.
Have experience of identifying safeguarding concerns in peoples' homes.
Possess level 3 safeguarding qualification SUMMARY: This is a full time, permanent position, Although people interested in job share or flexible working hours also considered.
Based in Exeter, Tolvaddon or Weston-super-Mare offices, with the option for hybrid working.
