Location: Totton, Southampton
Salary: Starting from £23,692.50 per annum, with potential to increase to £24,082.50* per annum on successful completion of probation (*plus sleep-ins).
Contract Type: Full-time (average 37.5 hours per week, rota-based on the needs of the role)

About the Role:
We are looking for passionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team, working with children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and autism.
You will play a key role in creating a respectful culture, helping young people grow, mature, and achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
Creating a safe, warm, and caring environment.
Supporting young people in managing challenging behaviours.
Promoting education, daily living skills, and individualised plans.
Maintaining records in line with organisational regulations.
Adhering to relevant legislation and policies.
This role involves shift work, including weekends and sleep-ins, and will be discussed further during the interview.
About You:
We are ideally looking for candidates with a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience working with children/young people.
Experience working with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs is desirable.
You should be reliable, energetic, and have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in a team and manage challenging behaviours effectively.
Essential Requirements:
Right to work in the UK.
GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
Minimum of 6 months relevant experience working with children/young people.
Willingness to complete a Level 4 Diploma if not already achieved.
Compliant with pre-employment checks, including enhanced DBS, satisfactory references, and proof of right to work.
Desirable:
Full UK driving license.
Schedule:
Day shifts, night shifts, and weekend availability.
