Bidwells' Highland team is seeking an experienced Rural professional (various levels of seniority considered) to join their growing team!
The successful candidate will collaborate with the Estate Management and Professional (EM&P) team across the Highlands, working closely with our Inverness and Fort William offices as a key fee earner.
The role will focus particularly on professional work.
The Inverness and Fort William-based EM&P team provides expert advice on rural and residential property, planning and development opportunities, as well as valuation and rural property sales.
With an established presence, the team partners with market-leading clients on a range of diverse and exciting portfolios.
We're looking for candidates with property experience in the rural sector, whether it's in Rural Surveying, Valuation, Residential Sales, Property Management, or Estate Management.
Even if your background is in commercial real estate, we welcome your application—provided you have a passion for rural and agricultural matters!
The role is flexible, offering hybrid working, but having access to your own vehicle is essential.
Due to the remoteness of some client work we anticipate you may work more so from home than the office however some office presence is essential!
This year, Bidwells is celebrating its 185th anniversary!
Our rural team has been integral to our success from the very beginning, and we continue to work with prestigious landowners across the UK.
In total, we manage or advise on over 1 million acres of English and Scottish countryside and coastline, including the Crown Estate.
What You'll Do: You will get the opportunity to work on a diverse range of impressive projects for some fascinating clients.
You could be involved with a wide variety of professional rural work, including, but not limited to: RICS Red Book valuations of rural property to include farms and estates for all purposes including secured lending and taxation A portfolio of professional instructions including the management of compulsory purchase/utility claims, landlord and tenant matters and general practice work of a professional nature Instructions within the Rural Development and Diversification sector Developing client relationships Winning new professional instructions About you: RICS qualified (desirable) Passionate about Rural and Agricultural matters Previous experience working in the world of real estate Proven track record of developing and maintaining a portfolio of management and professional instructions Excellent financial and commercial acumen Team player Strong communication skills Why Bidwells?
