Run A Pub With Marston'S In The Lake District

The Belle Vue is a traditional village pub just outside the centre of Cockermouth and within hamlet of Papcastle.
The pub is predominantly a destination food site which also serves locals as the village pub.
It is extremely well presented inside and out and is full of character.
The pub will benefit from some light entertainment and a good consistent own food offering.
Knowledge of the local area would be an advantage as there is the opportunity to build links with local walking, cycling and dog walking clubs.
We are also open to being flexible on the % of turnover of the pub to the new partner, for the right business plan.
The pub is currently taking on average £10,000 per week however with a regular food offering and entertainment there is the option to take much more.
We are looking for experienced food operators who have the ability to engage the local community whilst also marketing the business beyond the village effectively to bring customers to the pub.
What's in it for you?
20% share of weekly wet sales, excluding VAT (we can be flexible on the % based on business plan) Keep 100% of the food sales.
Low ingoing costs, starting with just a £5,000 deposit and £360 legal cost.
