Occupational Therapist's will have the opportunity to rotate between the Trusts to enable consolidation of University training in both mental and physical health.
We feel this upskills staff to be more holistic in their practice.This innovative opportunity includes the following rotations:A&ECommunity Crisis Mental Health TeamRespiratoryGastroenterologyEndocrinologyHyper acute stroke and stroke rehabilitationElective OrthopaedicsCritical CareGeneral SurgeryInpatient and outpatient cardiac rehabilitation Main duties of the job To provide clinical assessment and treatment for inpatients,To support with a safe and effective discharge from hospital.To actively engage in CPD activities offered such as: band 5 peer support group; team in-service training; preceptorship programme; specialist rotational competencies; clinical supervision.

Person Specification Education and Qualifications Essential Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy.
HCPC registration Skills and Abilities Essential The ability to discuss clinical reasoning in the management of cases Able to communicate complex information to patients, carers other health professionals and team.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to self direct learning, be critical and evaluate own learning needs, demonstrated in a CPD portfolio.
Able to provide a high standard of clear concise, written and verbal reports in English IT skills, including using hospital data bases, word processing, excel, email and power point Ability to manage own stress and work in a stressful and unpredictable environment.
