Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen on our Band 6 Occupational Therapy rotation for a motivated Occupational Therapist who is ready to develop their clinical expertise further and increase their level of responsibility and challenge.
Based within the Integrated Community Rehabilitation Service in south Manchester, the post will rotate across 3 areas, Community Therapy, Community Stroke and Intermediate Care.
In due course the rotation may be changed orexpanded across other clinical areas in line with service developments.
You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of varying diagnoses and complexity and have a flexible approach to working.
You will need excellent communication and organisational skills to be able to work effectively with both their OT and multi-disciplinary team colleagues We are looking for applicants who are passionate about delivering high quality interventions, engage in service improvements and support greater integration with community services and other providers.
The post is full time Monday - Friday.
Some areas of the rotation work extended hours.
Amending normal work patterns in these areas is optional.
Secondment opportunities will be considered.
Car Driver essential Main duties of the job To work as part of an occupational therapist on a community rotation providing assessmentment and treatment to patients with a wide variety of conditions whilst working as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team.
