Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist, to join our team at our Peterborough City Hospital site.You will need to be registered or in the process of registering with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team in the hospital where you will be involved in the delivery of a variety of clinical and core services provided by the pharmacy department.
Main duties of the job The pharmacy department at North West Anglia Foundation Trust are keen to create an environment in which we are able to nurture and grow our own talent.With this objective in mind we have developed a progression programme which supports the progression of our Rotational band 6 pharmacists into band 7 posts.This is implemented through a structured competency programme which band 6 pharmacists can enrol on enabling their progression to Rotational band 7 without the need for additional recruitment process, if the requirements of the programme are met over a minimum of an 18 month period.

Job description Job responsibilities Duties will include a ward pharmacist role to an assigned ward, dispensary work, medicines information, aseptic services and provision of pharmaceutical services to external community sites, therefore the ability to drive within the locality is essential.You will be expected to participate in the inhouse training and the competency assessment programme.
