Part Time Contractor required -1-3 days In Devon, Cornwall or East Angular £500 per day Client Legal & General To carry out residential mortgage valuations Purpose of role: To carry out and promote survey, valuation and energy reports along with associated products of residential properties on behalf of both private and corporate clients in accordance with professional, company and client guidelines and procedures ensuring quality, SLA and productivity standards are achieved.
Principal accountabilities: *See notes on final page on mandatory accountabilities 1.
Carry out and promote all inspections for valuation, survey, along with energy products in accordance with best professional practice to minimise the financial and reputational risk to Legal & General.
liaise with all support staff to ensure that inspections are carried out and reports prepared in accordance with agreed turnaround times and SLA's in line with ongoing business/client need.

Ensure that all communications with any party to the instruction are dealt with promptly and in a manner, which will enhance the reputation of Legal & General.
Ensure the PVQ response times are achieved and that queries, complaints and claims received are dealt with in accordance with Lender Guidelines and in keeping with SLA's to avoid service credits and penalties 3.
Achieve minimum personal business targets in terms of the volume of instructions carried out in order to meet planned profitability and annual fee income projection by completing maximum job units per working day.

Undertake sufficient training, both internally and externally, to satisfy personal CPD requirements of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and any further specific retraining prescribed by the company or deemed necessary by yourself to aid your professional understanding by completing the compulsory number of training hours per annum.

Undertake all actions in line with company, RICS and client requirements to ensure exceptional quality is produced across all elements of the role, whilst complying at all times with the company quality manual ensuring the company maintains it's accreditation under ISO:9001:2015 fulfilling site audits when required.

Regularly review the risks and performance of products / propositions to ensure they continue to meet the needs, characteristics and objectives of the target market and are delivering good customer outcomes Qualifications: RICS qualified and VRS registered valuer, EPC accredited Knowledge: Excellent valuation and survey knowledge Core Logic/Quest/Xit2 L&G policies and procedures Lender technical and administrative procedures Experience: Good knowledge of all aspects of residential survey and valuation We are committed to offering an inclusive recruitment experience.
