A vacancy has arisen for a Roadworker 3 to work on the Isle of Islay for Argyll and Bute Council, one of Scotland's most stunning areas.Argyll and Bute is one of Scotland's most stunning areas.

Join us to make a difference.The successful candidate will be working on the Isle of Islay and undertake structural and road maintenance works, including taking part in out of hours standby during summer/winter months to ensure roads are maintained in a safe condition.
This is a permanent post, worked Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:00 and Friday 08:00 - 15:30, 37 hours per week.Previous experience of major patching and surfacing operations will be essential to this post as well as leadership skills in a small team and the ability to deal with technical staff and members of the public.Our employees make good things happen in the day-to-day life and for the longer term future of Argyll and Bute.
