We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Wrexham to assist with the appointment of a Road Safety Officer , on a 1.5-month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion.

Hours per week: 14.80 Rate of Pay: £17.70 - £22.42 per Hour Responsibilities: Analyse road traffic data, identify trends and develop actions and initiatives to achieve safer roads in the County Borough.
Develop educational programmes, campaigns and projects for target groups, working with external stakeholders.
To assist the manager to identify, develop and implement and maintain policies, standards and procedures to ensure that the statutory, regulatory and strategic responsibilities are satisfactorily and efficiently discharged. To prepare and present reports based on robust evidence and make recommendations to Officers/ Members etc. To monitor performance in the service through the agreement of relevant performance targets and objectives.
Qualifications: Degree / post graduate in a relevant field or equivalent experience Road safety / Transport related qualification or considerable experience in Road Safety related work.
Experience of road safety audit procedure and application Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
