Risk Management Officer

6 months contract Hybrid, Belfast This role will require interaction with Markets Business Management teams, Independent Compliance Risk Management as well as Technology and various support functions.
Members of the team are required to escalate, investigate and remediate any issues identified through the Regulatory Compliance Governance processes.
Responsibilities: Perform governance of Markets Prudential and Regulatory Risk profile, including review of related issues, metrics & control performance as well as preparing executive reports for Markets senior management Assist with Regulatory applicability & control mapping analysis for appropriateness and accuracy for Markets Businesses and functions Liaise with stakeholders across multiple functions while establishing and maintaining solid relationships with our internal partners in the business Proactively identify opportunities to optimize and streamline processes, propose solutions and lead implementation of improvements Working as part of a global team to monitor controls, provide oversight and escalate issues in a timely manner Qualifications: Relevant experience in Regulatory Governance for Financial Services Knowledge of global markets traded products including related control principles beneficial but not essential Demonstrated expertise of Microsoft Office product suite and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
