You will be drive the technical direction of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices and collaborate with external teams including product and other development teams to successfully deliver product and integration features.

This is a hybrid position where you will work from Aptia office in Bristol, as well as from your home address.
This role will initially be a 12 months contract, with potential scope to extend.

Attending and contributing to team ceremonies including Retrospectives, Sprint planning, Analysis activities and Sprint reviews to ensuring timely delivery of product releases.
Mentor junior developers, fostering their growth and professional development.
Identifying and mitigating risks, and proactively address technical challenges
Writing and testing code, conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Building strong relationships with product owners, architects, analysts, testers and leadership team.

Proven experience of years as a software developer, with a track record of delivering complex software Product releases.
Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Essential Technical Skills- Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, Mongo, Git
Desirable Technical Skills- Unit testing, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Bitbucket, GitHub, Nest.js, Kubernetes, Drupal, PHP, Design Patterns, Security driven design practices and the remediation of SAST/DAST findings.
