Risk & Compliance Manager - Sussex Legal Practice - Risk and Compliance Manager I am working with an highly regarded and successful Legal 100 firm, who are seeking a talented and experienced Legal Compliance Manager to join their management team We are looking for a Risk and Compliance Manager, with experience in a legal setting, who is looking to be at the forefront of the implementation and development of regulatory and compliance matters for the firm.
The role will be broad and varied including ensuring the firm meets regulatory responsibilities, including anti-money laundering and GDPR.
About the Role: Key Responsibilities: Oversee risk and compliance initiatives, reporting to the COLP and COFA.
Develop and enforce compliance policies and procedures.
Conduct training sessions and audits to promote a culture of compliance.
Serve as the primary contact for compliance queries and provide expert guidance.
Mentor junior team members and represent the firm at external events.
What We're Looking For: Strong knowledge of regulations, including SRA Codes of Conduct and GDPR.
Excellent communication and engagement skills.
Highly organised with attention to detail.
