This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive Risk and Compliance Manager to join a growing practice, where your leadership will shape the compliance culture and manage various risks.
The role requires you to oversee multiple business functions, including advisory, marketing, business development, paraplanning, and administration, ensuring alignment with the practice's objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy Implementation: Lead operational activities and drive the development of the business in line with its objectives.
You'll be responsible for managing and guiding a team that includes advisers, paraplanners, and other key roles.
Risk Management: Ensure that all regulatory, operational, and strategic risks are properly identified and managed, safeguarding the business's reputation and compliance with laws.
Client Service Excellence: Inspire the team to deliver outstanding service to clients, maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.
Cross-Functional Oversight: Oversee the business functions to ensure they work cohesively and effectively toward the practice's goals, fostering an integrated team environment.
Key Skills: Experience & Skills: Proven success as a Risk Manager in an office-based environment, with significant experience managing and developing people.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Autonomy & Initiative: Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, showing initiative in driving projects and processes forward.
Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.
Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of how to add value to the business.
While financial services experience is beneficial, it's not a requirement.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have CII Diploma qualification.
