Risk Analyst sought by global Insurance / Reinsurance company working within Property, Casualty and Specialty markets.
***NOTE: This vacancy is offered by the IT Recruitment Division of Comtecs and is based within a global Insurance/Reinsurance company, with HQ based in the City of London.
*** Working closely with the senior management team in Bermuda, the Risk Analyst will provide support across the wider Risk team, Investments, Treasury, Finance, Actuarial, Capital Partners, Portfolio Analytics and Underwriting through: The continuous development, maintenance and embedding of risk, capital and solvency management, monitoring and reporting activities Assist in the ongoing monitoring of capital including Group Solvency Self-Assessment ("GSSA") and entity level Commercial Insurer's Solvency Self-Assessment ("CISSA") processes Support the production of quarterly and annual solvency reports for both the Group (Solvency II Framework) and Bermuda Solvency Capital Requirements ("BSCR") insurance entities.
Assist business planning through preparation of capital projections and capital scenario analysis Produce clear and concise documentation and effectively communicate insights and results to stakeholders As such, we are searching for candidates who: Have knowledge of risk-based capital models under the Bermuda or Solvency II Framework Data management and analytical skills with the ability to reliably collect, manage and assimilate large amounts of data including Treasury Finance and Actuarial / risk models Excellent organizational skills, initiative and ability to work to fixed deadlines Advanced knowledge of MS Excel Knowledge of data analysis and presentation using tools/software such as SQL, PowerBI Possess exceptional communication skills and ability to present to management The company operates a global 4 day in-office (City of London), 1 day from home policy.
