Risk Analyst - Salary up to £32,000 We are recruiting for three new Risk Analysts to be part of our brand-new team focused on operational risk in relation to the systematic and operational administration of insured products on FNZ technology.

A bit about the job: You will be responsible for oversight activities to mitigate operational risk, support the management of policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments, develop and implement strategies to manage and mitigate risks and ensure compliance with internal policies, relevant regulations and industry standards.
The role holder will provide advice, oversight, and support to the Team Manager and Product Owner.
You will ensure that the operational environment for all new and migrated insured products on the FNZ platform is fit for purpose and operating effectively.
Your will ensure business operations comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
You will support the development of policies, procedures, and controls, and develop and maintain risk management frameworks and methodologies to identify, assess, and manage operational risks.
You will support the delivery of good customer outcomes through all activities and deliverables, enabling us to act in good faith towards customers, avoid causing foreseeable harm, and support our customers in pursuing their financial objectives.
This includes ensuring accurate customer outcomes and minimizing financial risk to Aviva Life & Pensions.
As part of the Aviva CASS & Middle Office Team, you will collaborate with other FNZ oversight teams (e.g., Middle Office and CASS Recs teams) to review, approve, and test technical changes to the platform.
This ensures the segregation between insured and investment products and the successful implementation of insured products onto the platform.
You will also manage the live control environment for insured products, ensuring it operates effectively and is segregated from the CASS environment.
You will monitor and address any issues with the administration of insured products by the FNZ system and FNZ operations.
Additionally, you will map and maintain the control environment, proactively identifying and preventing any issues.
Skills and experience we're looking for: Good knowledge of Insured products - Bond and Pension is desirable.
Good knowledge of retail investment platforms is desirable.
Good understanding of risks and controls including documenting, overseeing and assessing a control environment is desirable.
Knowledge of the risks an insured business and its customers are exposed to.
Good numerical skills and an analytical mindset.
