Supporting the SENCO and the AEN department in all aspects of the department's work, including the testing for, and administration of, exam access arrangements.
To support the SENCO to: • promote the progress and achievement of AEN students throughout the school.
• enable students to develop their confidence, interpersonal skills, self-esteem and independence.
• promote a positive view of students with AEN across the academy • to support the teaching staff in enabling students to achieve high quality learning outcomes.
• assist in implementing relevant aspects of the SEND CoP 2015 • apply the Academy's Inclusion and Equal Opportunities policy The position will end when the member of staff returns from maternity or after 1 year which ever is closer.
