Rikama Education | Sen Teaching Assistant

Rikama Education are working with a large primary school in Margate, who are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistants to start in September.
This is a full time position which will be until Christmas, with a view of going permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
• To work within the schools SRP (Specialist Resource Provision)
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN across KS1 KS2
• Manage any challenging behaviours appropriately
• Follow the pupil's IEP
It is essential that you have:
• Previous experience working with children with additional needs, whether that is in a classroom or similar setting
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• A DBS registered to the update system or willing to have a new one run.
The school has an excellent support team and experienced SLT as part of the extended team.
