Rikama Education are working with a mainstream primary school in Deal, who are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP
The position is initially part time, working 8:30pm - 1pm, but will increase to full time once the pupil is ready.
This is temporary post until October half term, but may get extended further.
The position:
• To provide 1:1 support to a pupil in Reception who has ASC and is non verbal.
To provide personal care and assistance with toileting
• Follow the pupil's IEP and manage behaviours effectively following the school's policy
• Liaise with class teacher, SENCO and outside agencies
The school has an excellent support team and experienced SLT as part of the extended team.
