Core Subject Specialist - Barking & Dagenham - Start ASAP
We are seeking a dedicated Core Subject Specialist in Barking & Dagenham for an immediate start.
This Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' school is looking for an experienced Core Subject Specialist who can provide essential support to students within a dynamic learning environment.
Benefits: Competitive pay of £450-£550 per week via PAYE Work within an Outstanding-rated school alongside a supportive and professional team Opportunities for Teacher Training and continuous professional development Core Responsibilities: Provide tailored academic support in core subjects to pupils on a 1:1 basis , in small groups , and across whole classes Support SEN students with diverse needs, helping them engage with core subjects and reach key educational milestones Assist and collaborate with the class teacher, focusing on student progression and overall attainment Facilitate behaviour management and contribute to a positive, structured learning environment Develop customised learning plans, and deliver tutoring for core subjects based on each student's specific needs and abilities Requirements: 1:1 or 2:1 degree in a core subject from a leading UK university Minimum 3 A grades at A Level in core subjects Prior experience in a child-focused role, especially with SEN students and within core subjects Confident and capable in managing classroom behaviour, with a supportive and proactive approach Prior experience tutoring core subjects is highly desirable
