We are in search of a Restaurants and Bars Operations Director who aligns with our enthusiasm for crafting delightful experiences for guests.

This newly established position will involve managing all Food and Beverage operations before and after the openings for our collection of hotel residences across the UK and Europe, and it will also include opportunities for travel.
The perfect candidate should have a robust background in restaurants and bars, as well as high-end, lifestyle, or contemporary hotels.
A deep understanding of the complexities involved in hotel restaurant operations is crucial for this position.
Responsibilities: Business Plan Execution: Manage the implementation of the business plan, including benchmarking, revenue forecasts, and GOP percentage levels, ensuring alignment with the overall concept strategy and F&B planning.
Pre & Post Opening Management: Guide the F&B operations team through every phase of operations, from pre-opening preparations to achieving post-opening success.
Cost Control: Collaborate with the Ops leadership team to identify and execute cost management initiatives.
Support for F&B Budgets: Aid existing properties in meeting their F&B budget objectives.
Quality Oversight: Carry out quality assessments for each property, resulting in actionable plans for ongoing improvement.
Performance Tracking: Provide monthly reports on business performance and KPIs, along with follow-up action plans.
Operational Improvement: Enhance operational efficiency and quality in restaurant and bar services through innovative solutions.
Training and Development: Work alongside the company's Brand Ambassador to train F&B teams, nurture talent, and elevate quality.
Assess training needs and implement suitable programs.
Profitability Assessments: Perform detailed weekly reviews to uncover business opportunities, boosting profitability and guest satisfaction in partnership with Review Pro.
Input for Product Development: Offer insights on product development and advise on profitability prospects and potential challenges.

Qualifications and Experience Requirement: Senior Management Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a senior Food & Beverage role within the lifestyle sector, demonstrating a strong track record in managing and developing teams – this is essential for this position.
Commercial Acumen: In-depth knowledge and experience in P&L management and budgeting, with the capability to effectively drive revenue and control costs.
Systems Proficiency: Advanced expertise in point of sales systems, reservations, payroll, stock management, and Excel.
Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the R&B market, supported by a broad network of industry contacts.
Culinary and Beverage Expertise: A solid background in wine, food, and cocktails, with the ability to contribute to menu development across various disciplines.
Service Excellence: Proficient in all aspects of restaurant service, ensuring high standards and compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Documentation Skills: Capable of completing food hygiene documentation and writing detailed environmental health reports.
Personal Alcohol License: Must possess a personal alcohol license issued in England.
