OPN are able to offer competative rates of pay via Ltd company Main duties of the job Conducting Sleep Studies: Performing sleep-related tests to monitor various physiological parameters during sleep.Patient Assessment: Evaluating patients medical histories, symptoms, and sleep patterns to determine the appropriate testing and treatment options.Data Analysis: Analysing the data collected during sleep studies, including respiratory function, oxygen levels, and sleep architecture.Equipment Management: Setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting sleep study equipment and ensuring it functions correctly.Collaboration: Working closely with physicians, neurologists, and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and develop treatment plans.Patient Education: Providing information to patients about sleep disorders, testing procedures, and potential treatment options, including CPAP therapy.Reporting: Preparing detailed reports on findings from sleep studies and presenting these to the healthcare team for further evaluation.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in diagnosing and managing sleep-related breathing disorders through the conduct and analysis of sleep studies.
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to ongoing research in sleep physiology.Key Responsibilities:Conduct Sleep Studies: Perform diagnostic tests to monitor patients sleep patterns and physiological parameters.Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients medical histories and symptoms to determine appropriate testing protocols and ensure accurate data collection.Data Analysis: Analyse sleep study data, including respiratory function, oxygen saturation, and sleep architecture, and prepare reports summarizing findings.Equipment Management: Set up, calibrate, and maintain sleep study equipment, ensuring all devices are functioning correctly and adhering to safety standards.Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, neurologists, and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about sleep disorders, testing procedures, and treatment options, including continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy.Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation of all assessments, procedures, and communications.
