JOB TITLE: Resource and Planning ManagerLOCATION: Bristol AirportWORKING HOURS: 40 hours per actual days and hours that you work each day (your "shifts") will be organised in accordance with the needs of the airport or site contract and the needs of the operationSALARY: CompetitiveOverviewTo ensure the effective rostering of all team members in order to meet the operational demand.
The post holder will develop analysis and reporting capabilities, they will also monitor performance and forward plan to identify improvements to coverage.Responsibilities To monitor and provide the most effective and efficient planning and rostering available to match business requirements, optimizing performance.
To identify and consult with the management team and pro-actively manage changes to the shift patterns to deliver an improved service, share your findings with Operations Managers to facilitate smooth communication and change transitions.
Provide the steakholders with a forecast of passenger numbers and flight volumes to manage the resource rosters within peak months alongside headcount budgets.
Provide rosters for all resource to best fit the planned demand in advance.
Monitor skill sets and liaise with training department to ensure that skills are maintained.
Highlight risks to the business on performance and operational coverage.
To plan and trend weekly changes reviewing the coverage for the upcoming week and month.
Review schedules and understand airline changes in schedules and new peaks in operational demand.
To trend failures in service to plan ahead to understand where we need to bolster our resource.
To be the subject matter expert on Find My Shift (FMS), and to deliver training when needed to the Operational Team on utilising FMS.
Have a high level of understanding of all ABM software such as Avtech, and PDA's and be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
Interpret data and analyse results using statistical techniques to optimize performance.
Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to proactively make change to resource to meet required targets.
Advise the management team of any new processes that you believe would improve opportunities.
Build relationships and meet with team members, management and operations continuously.
Carry out any reasonable task requested.
