Key Responsibilities: Delivering engaging and thorough lessons in Resistant Materials to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
Developing and implementing creative and engaging lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and the school's educational vision.
Regularly assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to promote their academic development.
Collaborating with colleagues in the Design and Technology department to enhance teaching strategies and curriculum design.
Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in Resistant Materials education and pedagogical strategies.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Resistant Materials, Design Technology, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
Experience teaching Resistant Materials at secondary school level.
A passion for design and technology, with a drive to inspire students to achieve their best.
