About The Company : Our client is a leader in therapeutic residential childcare, special education, and specialist training.
They operate three therapeutic childrens homes, an independent SEMH school and a bespoke supported accommodation for young adult care-leavers.
Position Overview : We are seeking dedicated Childcare Workers to join our client's team.
This role involves working in their therapeutic childrens homes and supporting children at the SEMH school.
You will also participate in a 6-month work-based basic training program, preparing you for promotion to the position of Therapeutic Carer.
Key Responsibilities : Assist therapeutic carer colleagues and managers in meeting the needs of children.
Help children manage challenging behaviors and conflicted emotions.
Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to achieve agreed outcomes for each child.
Provide meaningful living, relating, and learning experiences for children.
Requirements : Some prior experience in a similar role.
Passion for working with children and making a positive impact in their lives.
Willingness to undertake comprehensive training and professional development.
