Job Description We are looking for a Reservations Assistant to join our team at Darwin Escapes Head Office.

This is a permanent position to work full time hours.
This will be 37.5 hours across variable days which will include weekends and bank holidays.

About The Role We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Reservations Assistant.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting guests with their enquiries and reservations over the phone, email, live chat and social media.
You will be the first point of contact for many guests, and it's important that you make a positive impression and provide accurate information to ensure their satisfaction.
The successful Reservations Assistant will Respond to guest enquiries and reservations with a friendly and helpful attitude.
Provide guests with accurate information about services, amenities and room availability.
Enter and maintain guest reservation details in the groups reservation system.
Work closely with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Keep up to date on promotions and packages to assist guests in making informed decisions.
Continuously strive to provide exceptional customer service and a positive guest experience.
Requirements: We are looking for a candidate with 1-2 years experience in a customer service role, ideally in the hospitality industry.
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with computer systems and ideally reservations software however this isn't essential as full training will be provided.
Comfortable navigating websites.
Experience with phone, email and social media customer service.
Experience with live chat customer service would be an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
A friendly and positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Desired Criteria Similar previous experience is an advantage A driving licence and the ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the resort Familiarity with computer systems and ideally reservations software but full training will provided Comfortable navigating websites Experience with phone, email & social media customer service Experience with live chat customer service would be an asset Required Criteria Right to Live and work in the UK A positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills At least 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, ideally in the hospitality industry Closing Date Tuesday 29th April, 2025
