We are seeking a motivated Researcher to join our team studying antimicrobial resistance in Neisseria gonorrhoeae, a sexually transmitted pathogen.
This project uses whole genome sequencing data spanning decades to investigate the epidemiology of antimicrobial resistance across multiple continents, with a particular focus on data from Africa.
The post holder will examine this data and will facilitate existing projects with African collaborators and may be asked to provide guidance to less experienced members of the research group, including project students.
To be considered for the role you will be degree-educated, together with some relevant experience, preferably in bioinformatics and microbiology.
