Research Fellow

About the role The primary responsibility of this position is to support research and development (R&D) for diagnostics and assist with various other aspects of National Specialist Commissioning Group.
The postholder will collaborate with the consultant neuropathologist, who leads the pathology service, and his team, as well as work closely with the MRC/BRC Biobank coordinator.
Additionally, the postholder will help manage the day-to-day operations of the DNC lab and contribute to the research in this field.
About you Applicants must have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
The successful applicant will have knowledge of research techniques in this area.
Laboratory experience (such as in flow cytometry, molecular biology, tissue culture, histology, imaging techniques) is essential.
