Job summary We are seeking to recruit a Band 6 Research Assistant in Inclusion and Migrant Health to work on the Advancing Equity for children and young people seeking asylum and refugees: a blueprint for Generalisable Interventions (AEGIS) project.
This is an NIHR-funded project hosted by UCLH, in collaboration with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Institute of Child Health-Great Ormond Street UCL, Barts NHS Foundation Trust, University of Salford and the Royal College of Paediatric and Child Health.
Main duties of the job The post-holder will be based in the Children and Young People's Division at UCLH and will work within the Paediatric Infection and Migrant health team.
The postholder will work with our transdisciplinary team, comprising clinical, academic, policy, migration, law, and social science expertise, to develop an evidence and policy-informed programme of work to reduce inequity for unaccompanied children and young people seeking asylum and refugees (CYPSAR-U) and other marginalised children and young people (CYP).
An honorary contract will be provided at role is expected to include contribution to both quantitative and qualitative aspects of the work, and the main output will be delivery of a scoping review of existing relevant literature and interventions.
There is scope to extend the role subject to funding.
