Relief Operative

Description We are currently recruiting a Relief Asphalt & Quarry Plant Operative to join our team in the Central region covering Corby, Cloud Hill Quarry, Leaton Quarry, Ling Hall, Mansfield Asphalt Plant.
Reporting to the Operation Manager, your role will be a practical 'hands on' position which will require you to be flexible, working at different locations across the region.
Your main base will be Cloud Hill Quarry.
A business use Van will also be provided to allow mobility between sites.
Key Responsibilities Working in a busy environment, you will be responsible for the daily inspections, maintenance and housekeeping of the fixed and mobile plant associated with your work role.
You will become fully aware of the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental policies and ensure they are always adhered to.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise The successful candidate will have a flexible, proactive and versatile approach to work, and  will ideally hold a current MPQC/CPCS skills card.
As this role involves travelling to different locations throughout the Shropshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire region, you must also hold a full UK driving licence.
This position is ideal for a highly motivated person with experience of plant operations preferably with knowledge of aggregates, asphalt and concrete.
