The Role To provide a comprehensive audio typing and administrative service to a Physician/General Surgeon, Dental Consultant or group of Physicians/Surgeons/Dental Consultants or Associate Specialist. To provide secretarial cover during periods of absence during which time required to deal with telephone and face to face enquiries from all staff groups, patients, relatives, carers, providing information, directing and prioritising queries as appropriate, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.

What we'll need you to bring Educated to Standard Grade with an RSA or equivalent typing qualification Experience within office environment Proficient in use of Software systems Advanced keyboard skills Medical terminology Good organisational and communication skills It would be great if you also have SVQ2 qualification or equivalent experience Experience working in a busy medical environment Previous waiting list experience Ability to work effectively in a team Ability to deal with change Audio typing skills Contract type Permanent Full time 37 hours Location and Working Pattern This role will be based in Medical and Surgical Directorates.
