AdvertORKNEY HEALTH AND CARESunnybrae Centre Relief Cook Hours are offered on an as and when required basis£14.79 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)A shift allowance will be paid for unsocial hours worked where appropriate We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to undertake Relief Cook duties at Very Sheltered Housing – Sunnybrae Centre, in Kirkwall, providing continuous care for the frail, elderly and those with dementia.
You will assist in preparing a choice of nutritional meals to a consistently high standard whilst ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene.
You should hold an Intermediate Food Hygiene qualification OR hold an Elementary Food Hygiene qualification with the requirement to achieve an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.
You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
