Job summary The post holder is a member of catering team responsible for providing catering services within an eating disorder service and in house coffee shop to staff, patients and visitors, which will include preparing, cooking and serving food and beverages to standard recipes, cleaning, completion of paperwork, ordering of supplies, cash handling and provision of hospitalities.
the shift pattern will be over 7 days between the hours of am and pm You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role.

Main duties of the job An opportunity has arisen for a Relief Cook/Catering Assistant (permanent) within the Trust Hotel Service's Team.
This post involves shift work including late/early between the hours of am - pm.
This is to support the catering team in the eating disorder kitchen and coffee shops .
Applicants should be highly motivated, customer focused, reliable, flexible and willing to work at short notice and have the ability to work alone and as part of a team.
Experience is essential and the ability to demonstrate good culinary skills and knowledge, cash handling and associated paperwork.Knowledge is required in cleaning duties and use of chemicals and equipment are essential as you will be working in a demanding environment.
Preparing, cooking and serving of meals in line with Hygiene Codes of Practice and legislation with particular attention to quantities (portion control), quality and the appearance of meals, assisting with maintaining the highest possible standard of hygiene and health and safety in line with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point, Assisting with menu planningCandidates should have a good general education, and must hold a minimum of Level two Food Hygiene certificate, NVQ Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality (706/1) and have a knowledge of allergens, be willing to demonstrate commitment to undertake further training and qualifications.
You are also required to be IT literate.
