Mo te turanga - About the role The Relationship Manager role is critical to making this happen. As a Relationship Manager in Lending Services, you will be responsible for developing collaborative working relationships with customers who have an elevated risk profile. You will work closely with the Business teams to work through remedial outcomes and promote Lending Services as a valued business partner.
You will have the opportunity to:
Develop effective retention and exit strategies that create and preserve value for our customers, and ANZ. Ensure all customer groups are assessed and accurately risk rated/provisioned. Work with our customers to achieve good outcomes, in a timely and respectful manner. Work closely with our frontline colleagues and external intermediaries to enhance the reputation of Lending Services. Work as a team to meet our regulatory reporting and internal policy requirements. Role Type: Permanent, Full Time

Great financial literacy, analytical skills, commercial and business acumen. Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience in credit analysis and credit writing, and an understanding of the credit framework. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be confident, calm, and empathetic in stressful situations. Insolvency, Legal or Accountancy experience is good to have but not required. Portfolio risk management experience with the ability to provide accurate information in a timely manner. Business advisory or accounting skills. You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
