Relationship Manager – London, UK Role Overview: The Relationship Manager will play a key role in building and nurturing long-term client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and driving opportunities for contract and interim placements.
This position focuses on engaging with clients across various sectors, placing a strong emphasis on face-to-face interactions to foster trust and enhance client engagement.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, managing the full recruitment lifecycle while identifying new business opportunities and promoting growth.
You will come in to understand our business, various market verticals and product offering for recruitment and search.
Equipped with this knowledge, your role will be to be market-facing with key decision makers across the UK market, in our key clients and any new clients you identify to align to our specialisms.
Your initial focus will be to immerse yourself in our business and develop a clear understanding of how to effectively communicate our story to clients across various sectors and specialist areas.
This involves meeting key people, building strong relationships, identifying opportunities, and gathering valuable market insights to bring back to the team.
You'll essentially be the 'front of house,' representing us and ensuring we're always in tune with the market.
Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
Regular in-person meetings are essential for building trust, understanding client needs, and reinforcing the relationship as the primary point of contact for staffing solutions.
Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for contract/permanent placements within the client's organization.
Develop strategies to meet evolving client needs, leveraging face-to-face interactions to drive business growth and enhance relationship management efforts.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to align client management strategies with overall business goals.
Develop and implement tailored account plans, incorporating frequent on-site visits and meetings to ensure strong alignment with client objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Problem Solving: Proactively address any client concerns throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
In-person meetings will play a crucial role in resolving issues quickly and maintaining client loyalty.
Key Deliverables: Consistent placements within assigned client accounts.
Development of a clear relationship management strategy, incorporating in-person meetings with specific targets and milestones.
Enhanced client satisfaction and retention through personalized service and regular face-to-face engagement.
Achievement of revenue and placement targets for assigned accounts.
Requirements: Proven experience in relationship management, preferably within recruitment or staffing.
Strong understanding of contract and interim placement processes.
Strong communicator and ability to influence and solution-sell Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a clear emphasis on in-person meetings as a critical success factor.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving, especially through direct client engagement.
