Our customer, a Top Tier Bank is currently looking for an Experienced Regulatory Lawyer to support its Payment Services function for an interim contract position, ideally in a hybrid office setting or remote with some flexibility to visit occasionally, starting as soon as possible.
You might be the right person if you: 3+ year PQE lawyer qualified in England & Wales.
Have knowledge of Payments and financial services regulations, and compliance issues facing financial institutions.
Expertise in payments, banking regulations, outsourcing principles, and contract drafting.
Strong understanding of key regulatory and contractual principles, and can draft, negotiate, and advise on commercial contracts.
Working knowledge of Data Protection legislation and experience in foreign exchange and multicurrency products.
Knowledge of payment and financial services or a background in a regulated environment A strong understanding of key contractual principles, corporate/commercial issues, UK financial services, payment systems, retail banking, consumer finance, and the UK regulatory ecosystem is a desirable skill.
Understanding of corporate environment especially within financial services.
Skills for Success: Previous compliance knowledge and experience with an understanding of regulatory environment.

Extremely professional and customer service-oriented attitude, including with a track record of understanding and meeting client expectations.
Legal experience in savings products and bank accounts; specifically in Payment Services Regulations/Payment Accounts Regulations/ISA Regulations/BCOBS Understanding of general banking issues (e.g.
