Regulatory Compliance Manager

We are representing a growing accountancy practice who is looking to hire a Group Compliance Manager to join their team on a permanent full time basis.
This role would suit a candidate who is already working in Accountancy practice and who has post qualified UK experience in a practice team or regulatory body such as ICAS, ACCA or ICAEW.
Ideally you will have an ACCA or ICAEW qualification and you will have a firm understanding of risk and compliance in the accounting industry and able to manage the company's operational and regulatory risks.
Some of your responsibilities will include: Rolling out a company-wide Compliance and Risk strategy Ensuring that a risk and compliance culture is embedded within the organisation, including facilitating and organising training and communication on compliance matters.
Preparation of regulatory applications to ACCA/ICAEW or other regulatory bodies for all new acquisitions e.g.
Audit, AML, DBP Providing clear and accurate reporting with regards to compliance findings and breaches Providing advice and guidance to partners, managers and employees on compliance related queries Responsible for updating all regulatory policies Updating firmwide risk assessment and policies and procedures Co-ordinating any assessments.
Assist in maintaining the relationship with professional bodies This role will involve travel to a number of offices across England.
