Registered Veterinary Nurse

Details of the offer

If you are an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to join a warm and friendly team, then we may have the perfect role for you here at Newport Vets for Pets!

We are looking for someone with the right personality to fit in with our team! While it is very important to us that the right person is professional and has the right work attitude, equally, the right colleague must be able to take and give out banter, not be easily offended, and most importantly, when not working, not take life too seriously! If you have good people skills, are prepared to work and play hard, and enjoy your work, then you are what we are looking for.

Our centrally located practice opened in 2008 and has gone from strength to strength, maintaining an excellent reputation amongst the local community and a loyal and diverse client base.

The surgery has all the usual toys, and you will enjoy a great work-life balance, working 40 hours over 4 days with no weekends, OOH, or on-call.

You should be a proactive nurse with solid all-round skills. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. We're ideally looking for a nurse with an interest in consulting.

By joining us, you will be part of a dynamic team of 5 Vets, 2 RVNs, 2 SVNs, and 5 Receptionists, each dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care.

We offer a supportive and friendly working environment together with career development opportunities and an excellent package and benefits that includes:

Salary between £24,000 and £30,000 Contributory pension scheme, CPD allowance Professional memberships paid (RCVS and VDS) Exclusive company discounts and rewards - including 20% off at Pets at Home, The Groom Room, and the Vet Group. If you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and great customer service, and would like to join our fantastic team, then we would love to hear from you.

Location: NP20 3AE

Pets just see people. They aren't biased and they don't discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves, so even if your skills and experience don't perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you.
