Job summary Are you motivated, enthusiastic and want to make a real difference?We provide a specialist inpatient service for adults with mental health needs across 3 inpatient wards and 2 rehabilitation units in Worcestershire.
Our teams sit within the Adult Mental Health and Learning Disability Service Delivery Unit.We are looking for a dynamic, flexible, passionate NMC registered nursing associate join our team.
This post is suitable for both newly qualified registered nursing associates & experienced registered nursing associates looking for a new challenge in a fast paced inpatient ward.Holt Ward is a 16 bed, mixed gender assessment & treatment ward based in Worcester.
Holt takes admissions from across the county for patients in acute crisis.
The ethos of the ward is dynamic assessment, allowing staff to work on identifying, and safely managing patients needs.
You would work with the multidisciplinary team which includes mental health nurses, occupational therapists, healthcare support workers, medical staff, psychologists & activity co-ordinators.The team on Holt ward are friendly, supportive and exceptionally caring, putting patient care at the heart of all we do to improve health care outcomes and service delivery.We can offer from 30 up to hours a week.
Our working patterns are 3-4 fully rotational long days/ nights (07:00-19:30/19:00-07:30) across a four-week period including weekends and bank holidays.We offer flexible and family friendly working.

Person Specification Knowledge Essential Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate in context of the nursing and interdisciplinary team and the organisation, and how the role may contribute to service development Understands and acts in line with NMC professional standards for practice contained within The Code Knowledge of when to seek advice and escalate to the appropriate professional for expert help and advice Understands requirements for NMC professional Revalidation Understanding of the importance of following procedures and treatment plans Skills & Abilities Essential Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats Computer literate with applications such as Word/ Microsoft Office including email Able to support and reassure patients/carers in distress Ability to take part in reflective practice and clinical supervision activities Experience Essential Experience of working in teams under appropriate supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team Experience in prioritising own workload Experience in working without direct supervision Qualifications Essential Foundation Degree Nursing Associate qualification NMC Nursing Associate registration GCSE English (grade A-C) or equivalent GCSE Maths (grade A-C) or equivalent I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
