Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Urology Unit as a part time Band 5 Staff Nurse at Royal Gwent Hospital.The Urology unit diagnose, treat and support patients though their urology journey.
There are many nurse led clinics so no day is ever the same!There are lots of opportunities for progression with Clinical Nurse Specialists and Advanced nurse practitioners in all areas of urology nursing.
Main duties of the job The Urology Outpatients Unit provides quality care to patients requiring outpatient interventional urology treatment and diagnostics both consultant and nurse unit provides an excellent induction programme that includes all areas within the specialities.
The successful candidate needs to be hardworking, caring and have excellent communication skills.
Previous Urology experience is desired.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
