Job summary We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Short Stay Unit!About the Unit:Our Short Stay Unit is a 40-bed, fast-paced environment that primarily cares for patients with a length of stay of up to 72 hours.
We provide comprehensive care for acute medical patients with a variety of conditions.Key Responsibilities:Support to Ward/Department Leader: Collaborate with the Ward/Department Leader to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Nursing Care: Deliver and monitor high-quality nursing care for a designated group of patients throughout their care episode.
Learning Environment: Play an active role in fostering a positive and effective learning environment for all team members.

Person Specification Knowledge Essential Well developed communication skills and time management Effective organisational abilities.
Qualifications Essential First Level Registered Nurse Desirable Critical care skills Further Training Desirable Change management and leadership skills.
Supervisory skills 997 and 998 or FLIPS Cannulation and venepuncture.
ILS Experience Desirable Experience in an acute setting Contractual Essential Continued Professional Development.
Regular Attendance Ability to work flexibly within working hours of ward/department.
Demonstrate professionalism and patient advocacy.
