Job summary Avery Healthcare is one of the largest providers of luxury elderly care homes in the UK, aiming to create meaningful lives together for their residents.
They are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their friendly, award-winning team at Rowan Court Care Home in Newcastle under Lyme.
Main duties of the job As a Registered Nurse, you will act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf.
Your responsibilities will include undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.
You will also advise families and GPs of any changes in resident condition, deploy and supervise staff, and provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning.

Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in your application, you will live our values of caring,supportive,honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do.Our ideal candidatemust: Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
Demonstrate a minimum 2years experienceand up to date knowledge of care,supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification.
Display good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential You must hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration, with a minimum of 2 years' experience and up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualifications.
You should also display good interpersonal skills and the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities, as well as sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
